Allie + Zach
I hadn’t met Allie and Zach so I was so anxious and excited to meet them and spend the day with them. When I arrived to Aspen Lakes Golf Course I couldn’t believe it but I already knew people in their family. I kept seeing familiar faces 🙂 It was awesome! Such a small world, come to find out Allies family is from the same small town that my husbands family is from. Needless to say there was lots of story telling going back and forth between us all!
Allie and Zach have a neat love story. They met at a college baseball game in Oregon, their first date was three months later in Copenhagen, Denmark. She flew out to visit Zach and watched him play in an international baseball league. While the beginning of their relationship, it took them all the way around the world. The rest has been spent mostly in Oregon, but just as special and exciting.
They wanted to incorporate unique elements into their wedding to make it as special as their relationship. From simple details like handwritten notes on their programs individualized to each guest, a wood baseball bat and Oregon shaped sign as their guest book, customized MLB groomsmen ties, to the more elaborate; her mom hand ripped over 200 napkins to create a rustic and distressed look for each place setting. Their friends built the wooden cross that they would say their vows under. So many people helped to make their wedding day amazing!Â
