Every year I get all my Senior Reps together and we do a group shoot. We were a few weeks out from that still but I knew I wanted to make sure to catch some photos with the spring blossoms as well. As life would have it I got busy and before I knew it all the blossoms were already disappearing! I put out an all-call to any of my senior who could do some last minutes shots with the next day. Little did I know that the entire state would be shutting down soon after and this would be it for a while.
I spent the entire morning driving around Springfield looking for the perfect spot. Basically anywhere that still had enough blooms left on the trees. I was lucky enough to find a location that would work in east Springfield. We were meeting around golden hour and I just knew this spot would be magic. I should also mention that at this point, I had not met my reps in person yet. This shoot is always exciting because I get to learn a bit more about who they are as individuals.
Kids started showing up, some brought friends which I love and we just had a good time. Below are some of my favorite images of the evening. I am so glad we were able to salvage the last bit of spring before all the crazy happened. I cannot wait to get out and do our full shoot and meet all my seniors later this year – when it is safe to do so.
